May 30th, 2026- On this night the Caboto Club had the honor of celebrating the 100th birthday of WW2 Navy Veteran Mike Masciola. At this event , Mike was presented with a proclamation from the Town of Harrison. We wish to thank Mayor Tom Scappaticci and the Harrison Town Board for the presentation during our festivities. The Caboto Club board also presented Mike with a framed history of the ship on which he served. Special thanks to Club Treasurer Gary Vessecchia for the preparation and presentation of the frame. Special thanks also to House Chairman Tony Viscogliosi for the decoration of the club and to Teresa Panzariello for the beautiful banner thanking Mike for his service. Finally, we offer much appreciation to Lisa LaRocca of News12 for filming and televising the event and to Chief Vito Faga, jr for assisting with contacting Ms. LaRocca.

May 25th, 2026 - On this Memorial Day we inaugurated the G.Caboto Club's first annual laying of the wreath at the Harrison War Memorial. I am grateful and proud of all the club members and their families who gathered at the War Memorial to pay tribute to those who made the supreme sacrifice in defense of our nation. Special heartfelt thanks to our WWII veteran Mike Masciola and to our Vietnam veterans Tony D'Onofrio, Jim Sardone, Lou Annunziata and Joe Perri for the presentation of the wreath. Your service to our country will never be forgotten! Special thanks as well to our club VP Anthony Guglielmo for all his assistance with planning the event . Finally , we offer our thanks to club member Sam Vasile for donating the coffee and breakfast treats during the morning gathering at our club.

May 19th, 2026 - Opening night of our G.Caboto Bocce tournament. After years of neglect, Bocce is back at the Caboto Club! On behalf of the administration and the membership, I wish to thank the following people for making this event possible: Sal Cappello, Nadia Cappello, Domenico Cappello, Anthony Margiotti, Tony DiSanto, Tony Santoli, Steve Ruffino, Phil Deiacova, Lou Arlotta, Andrea Morano Sagliocco, Tony Viscogliosi, Chef Sal Burgio, John Rubillo, and Alex Amoriello.
Thanks to everyone for making this happen. Opening night was a blast! Thanks Chef Sal for the burgers, dogs, and pasta. Looking forward to a great 2026 Bocce season. The Bocce Bellas are going down!!!! But I think they are the favorites to win it all!
It was a beautiful event. So glad to have participated. Salute to all of our veterans. Happy 100th birthday Mike! God Bless
